Members of the Stonetowne Quilters' Guild annually make a number of quilts for the purpose of donating to individuals who may be going through an illness, traumatic life event, or who just may be in need of comfort. The fabrics for these quilts range from cottons to cozy flannels, each quilt has a batting, is machine quilted and is washable.
Because these quilts are made by volunteers, requests will be dealt with on a first come, first serve basis depending on the number of quilts we have on hand at any given time. Typically our Comfort Quilts are lap quilts that are easily tucked in around those in a wheelchair or an easy chair.
